The Museum of the Soviet-Polish Combat Cooperation was opened on October 15, 1968 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Lenino of the First Polish Infantry Division named after T. Kosciuszko together with the Soviet divisions against the fascist invaders. The museum is part of the memorial complex of the Soviet-Polish Combat Cooperation, which is a historical and cultural value of the Republic of Belarus.

Since 2014, the Museum of the Soviet-Polish Combat Cooperation is a branch of the state cultural institution "Gorki District Museum of History and Ethnography".

The exposition of the Museum of the Soviet-Polish Combat Cooperation is dedicated to the joint combat actions of the Soviet divisions and the First Polish Infantry Division named after T. Kosciuszko during the Great Patriotic War.

The exposition materials also familiarize visitors with the history of the origins and formation of the Polish Army. There are also samples of weapons, equipment, personal belongings of the participants of the battles, as well as numerous documents and photographs.

The central place in the exposition of the museum is given to the diorama "The Battle of Lenino", which was created by artists of the Moscow Military Studio named after Grekov. It depicts the climax of the joint attack of Soviet and Polish soldiers.

A significant place in the exposition of the museum is occupied by the showcase-exhibition "In a united formation", which presents memorable gifts and souvenirs telling about the post-war cooperation between Belarus and Poland.
